All the content on the website is the property of London Dermatopathology Teaching Ltd and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Failure to arrive on a course is not a cancellation. If you fail to show up for a course that you are booked on to without informing us, you remain liable for 100% of the course fee. If you are only able to attend part of the course no refund can be given.
- Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract, for the purchase of a place on a course within a period of 7 working days from the application date (a ‘cooling off’ period) and receive a full refund. However, we regret that we cannot accept a cancellation of contract or make a refund if you have accessed any online materials or you cancel a place less than 7 days before the course, as conference costs would have been incurred on your behalf.
- For cancellations made 14 days or less from the course date, 100% of the course fee will be retained.
- For cancellations made between 30 to 15 days from the course date, 50% of course fee (or at least £50) will be retained.
- For cancellations made more than 30 days from the course date, we will refund you the entire course fee minus a £50 administration charge.
Prior to the event, if you are unable to attend for any reason, you may change the name of the delegate free of charge, so that someone can attend in your place. Please be advised that if we have already prepared all the course material prior to this, we do not guarantee that we can reprint all/part of the material to include the name of the new delegate.
In the event of sickness or special circumstances that prevent you from attending, delegates remain fully liable for the course fees. However, if you notify us at least 14 days prior to the course, we will try to book you onto another course so that you don’t miss out on the training opportunity. This is subject to availability and will incur a £50 administrative charge for the transfer. We promise to do our best under the constraints we have to work with leading up to a course.
Your course reservation allows you to view the online course presentations which are streamed to your computer. London Dermatopathology Teaching keeps a permanent log of computer IP addresses and account holders accessing the online course. Any attempt to distribute, copy or reproduce these materials or website by any individual or organisation, whether for monetary gain or not, is copyright infringement. You are granted a non-transferable licence to download documents and keep one printed copy for your own private use.
Your username and password are for your own private use. If our security software detects that your log-in details are being shared, your account will be automatically locked and you will be denied access until your account is reviewed by our technical support team. We reserve the right to charge you for shared accounts, to cancel your purchase without a refund and to claim financial compensation from you.
You may use the course materials provided at the course event for your own personal non-commercial use. You are not permitted to distribute these documents to anyone else in any way.
Limitation of liability
In the unlikely event that an event is postponed or cancelled, the liability of London Dermatopathology Teaching shall be limited to a full refund of the fee paid for that particular event.
London Dermatopathology Teaching Ltd makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, suitability, quality or operation of any content, product or service provided on or accessible from the website.
